icon01/26/2010 - MANDATORY VOLUNTEER FEE & REQUIREMENTS

 IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER FEE INFORMATION:

$25.00 VOLUNTEER FEE DUE AT REGISTRATION
**For the upcoming season, each family is required to submit a volunteer deposit in the amount of $25 at the time of registration. League officers, coordinators, sponsors and returning coaches are exempt from this requirement.
**Reimbursement of volunteer deposit requires a minimum of eight hours of volunteer work, per family. The volunteer log must be signed by both the parent and a Bulldog representative, which may include any board member coordinating the event or activity, concession manager, etc. The volunteer deposit will be returned to parents who perform at least (8) eight hours of volunteer work this season. It is the volunteer’s responsibility to log their hours in the logs, located in the concession stands and at all events. If a volunteer does not log their hours they WILL NOT receive their deposit reimbursement. At the end of the season all volunteers that have completed their eight (8) volunteer hours and logged them in the books will have three options (1) Pick up their deposit reimbursement check on the specified scheduled day. (2) Ask that their deposit carry over to the next season (3) Donate the volunteer fee back to the league. At the end of the season their will be communications regarding the choices and it will be the volunteer’s responsibility to communicate to the league which option they would prefer.
*The Bulldogs are a non-profit organization that relies almost entirely on the voluntary support of it’s parents to carry out the many jobs necessary to provide a quality football/cheerleading experience for its participants and families throughout the season. The intent of the volunteer deposit is twofold: 1) Encourage greater participation among parents in the operations of the league; and 2) For parents that choose not to volunteer, their fee provides funding necessary to provide services that would otherwise be carried out by volunteer(s).
***Some of the ways that you can earn your needed volunteer hours are as follows....
*HELPING CLEAN THE FIELD AFTER HOME GAMES
*HELPING LOAD AND UNLOAD TRUCKS BEFORE AND AFTER HOME GAMES
*EMPTYING GARBAGE CANS AROUND THE FIELD ON HOME GAME DAYS
*DOING CHAINS AT AWAY GAMES

*SELLING TICKETS FOR UPCOMING EVENTS (such as homecoming, casino night etc.)
*PARTICIPATING BY DONATING TO OUR "DOG GONE GOOD" FUNDRAISING AUCTION
